The Goal: create a Pitch Deck for AWAY Luggage to promote on the pinterest platform

AWAY Luggage represents innovation and modern travel solutions, combining practicality with stylish design. The brand values quality craftsmanship and customer experience, aiming to enhance journeys for travelers. Pinterest serves as a vital platform for visual storytelling and aspirational marketing. Its unique focus on imagery makes it an ideal space for brands like AWAY to share their narrative and connect with adventure-seeking users.

The Execution:

The deck I designed aimed to boost brand visibility and driving conversions for AWAY Luggage. Each design direction aligned with Pinterest’s aesthetic and engagement strategies. The proposed campaign aims to foster community interactions and drive increased traffic to the AWAY website. I decided to pitch three very different campaigns to get a feel for how AWAY wanted to move forward.

 

Campaign 1: Millennial Chic

This execution targeted a younger demographic, leveraging the insight that they are particularly attracted to the vibrant colorways offered by AWAY luggage. The design emphasized a trending color palette that resonates with the audience's preferences. To enhance the visual appeal and create an emotional connection, the background featured textured elements that evoke aspirational travel to tropical destinations, effectively merging style with a sense of adventure.

Campaign 2: Aspirational Imagery

This execution embraced the theme of aspirational travel by utilizing photography captured in unique locations, which effectively evokes a sense of wanderlust. The design vision concentrated on a cohesive color palette that was consistently applied throughout the Pin layout. This strategic use of color not only enhances visual appeal but also guides the viewer's eye, creating a harmonious and engaging user experience. By interlinking the imagery with a well-defined color scheme, the overall presentation becomes more inviting and impactful, encouraging further exploration and interaction

This execution employed a creative strategy that prioritized an artistic expression over direct product promotion. By inviting users to envision new destinations, the emphasis was placed on evoking emotions and inspiring thoughts of exploration, allowing the audience to interpret the message in a personal and meaningful way. This approach effectively cultivates a sense of wonder and anticipation, aligning well with the aspirations of potential travelers.
